We source candidates using a combination of traditional web, social media and professional networking media as well as via word of mouth referral. Our database of prospective candidates is large and up to date however we never rely on this exclusively and will always go to market to capture the widest range of candidates available.

Our philosophy

Part of our philosophy is to recognise there are many people skilled at preparing resumes and presenting themselves at interview. Our screening processes go further than a tick the box approach to key competencies and experience. We generally meet a higher than average number of potential candidates for each role because invariably some of the best candidates are those who have been in their current or most recent roles for longer periods of time and are perhaps less skilled at the interview process than your average job hunter. We assess candidates in terms of attitude, energy, work ethic, team orientation, body language, communication skills, technical ability and proven recent performance. Only fully qualified candidates are presented for client interview.
While all commercially sensitive client and candidate information is treated with the utmost confidentiality we strive for honesty and transparency when discussing the roles we are looking to fill. This ensures no one is misled in anyway and there are no unforeseen surprises. MFRS does not engage in bait advertising – we only advertise genuine roles that we have been retained to fill.
